Take a look at the BBBF mack trenches

I had a Chinese friend in college, a self-claimed "Burberry Mania" who had numerous Burberrys and wear them with True Religions and Diesels baldy[1].gif
With that said, London line is good and Prorsum has amazing winter weight stuffs.

Prorsum is generally all round amazing-Better than Dior's I would say (I have coats from both).

Noticeable difference in quality from the Made In England/Italy London lines as compared to their made in SEA counterparts. Should not be a problem since Burberry is consolidating their manufacturing and relocating production back to England

thanks guys. will check out bbbf and prorsum. might actually walk downtown to BB and Burberry shops in real life. what a concept!

Got an article on this? Sounds like it would be interesting. For normal trenches, are there any big differences in say, the gabardine cotton trench, between London and Prorsum?

A1923 jacket 1 or 2.
I like the bigger buttons on the 1st.
I have a Paul Harnden long jacket, and the second one a little PH-esque - first one is a bit sharper with the square edges, but maybe too sharp
Also, never seen the fabric on the 1st jacket, but I've been told it's heavy - anyone see the AW12 pieces in person?

edit: The Atelier models are flipping tall so the second picture in each series is how the jacket fits on me - it's outerwear-sized, not fitted

I say the 2nd. Would like to see a pic of the collar down though.

Collar spread on both doesn't look good, worn open it looks like this: same cut as first jacket, different material)
Not my pic, but very similar fit to me - got yelled at trying to take a picture in the store, heh

The 'normal' classic designs are all under London-Prorsum is the innovative and fashion forward line.

You are unlikely to find a simple cotton trench from Prorsum

Skip the A1923 imo. You've already got the Harnden in pretty much the same style. Unless you're ballin' enough to be have two $2k jackets that share a common look.

I was aware that Prorsum was the fashion line (I'm still reminded of the god awful pink metallic trenches), but even Prorsum often carries some normal trenches: http://us.burberry.com/cotton-gabardine-trench-coat-p44702291

What are you looking for exactly? Budget? Wouldn't buy shoes from either of those brands
