#2!

Number 2, man. Why don't you like metal buttons? Number 1 - not liking it. Number 3 is impressive but arms are really really tight and cut very high. If I was gonna get it I would have to size my size 3 in Devoa to 4 and still not sure how it would look on me. But you don't seem to have massive arms so could work fine for you. I like your PH jacket a lot.

I concur. The 2nd one has awesome looking fabric.

You don't sound completely won over by any of them. Any reason it has to be one of these three?

Best suggestion is to turn off the computer, go fishing for the rest of the day, and buy whatever jacket you dream about that night.

I prefer the #2 but I see #1 being better for you. Just my opinion.

my choice is #3....for obvious reasons foo.gif

(you can actually do better than all 3 though tbh)

Real McCoys A2 for $1800? Have TOJ (and calf N. Hollywood) already but want horsehide, just don't think it's worth the cost / vintage ones can be had for a lot less

If you can swing it you should. Real McCoy stuff is top notch - also, not sure it's worth playing vintage roulette.

Yeah been looking for a vintage one but never found one that was in condition / style I wanted. TOJ is ok, lamb is supper nice a bit too lightweight for me. N. Hollywood one is calf and I've been on the fence with it as design wise something isn't clicking with me (thankfully no one bought it yet)

And fit is solid all around minus upper arms which are a bit tight from the one I tried on a while back. $1800 for a jacket I'd probably wear for years is solid price over time

Yeah, I'm gonna pass on both.

This A1923 jacket is what I'm looking for, but at 3x the price of the Devoa, more than I want to pay:

Anyone wanna unload one for under 10 bills, lemme know!

Good call. It was an expensive lesson for me to learn not to kop anything I didn't absolutely want.

The Augusta jacket is great, but it's essentially a Harnden piece slightly reimagined. That being said I do prefer his cut to PH's, and it's on my wishlist.

There're better Devoa jackets this season too.

Hrmm quilted Schneider or a chunky Inverallan (different color and style from what I have on order)?

Need a winter knit, Inverallan isn't doing it for me.

SNS or Schneider?

Hood is no good. Pick another Schneider, or another SNS.

(Or buy my cardigan)
