Don't like those zippers and other details and overall it looks cheap imo (reminds of diesel or something)

Good point, do you know any solid brands that will suit a college student in the same price range?

I'd say finding a good leather jacket in that price range would be pretty difficult. I've seen some pretty cool leathers sell on B&S and other second hand markets for a little higher than that but that would probably be your best bet.

Need something to hold a 14" laptop. Not sure about the velcro part though... Any other suggestions? Preferably under $100.

Cote et ciel has some decent stuff at a good price. Their site seems to be down for me at the moment

Does it have to be leather? Never understood point of leather laptop sleeves, you pay huge premium for less function.

Not at all. Just want something that looks good and not like every other neoprene laptop sleeve out there.

EG Workaday 41 and wrokaday fatigues both in green and or blue

Justifying 200 bones on pants has me all a fluster. I didn't even know about the eg 41's but when i went to try on the fatigues they had em so i tried them out and they fit my fat thigh's

I feel like the 41 is a better purchase but love the fatigues, shoul di just cop some 50/50 fatigues from an army surplus ?

I don't have any experience with the 41 pants, but the fatigues are great if you like the fit and they are a staple EG piece. I have a couple pair of workaday fatigues but find them a little loose fitting for my taste, I have some of thew new EG mainline fatigues however and those are some of my favorites as the fit is much slimmer through the legs.

thx man, it is Three Animals. Not distributed in USA unfortunately, only a few shops mostly in France (it's a French label, though the designer is a Chinese woman). U're right, I don't know if I should get both. I have 0 vests so it would be a good chance.

But I need casual brown winter trousers too
