Still, I for some reason think I should maybe get the medium, which is a 40, as it seems the model can't zip the jacket up when wearing a small, and it looks a bit snug all around.

Get the small. Never get medium in leather.

Neither. If you must buy, get Gamme Bleu.

don't know how tall you are, but i think the slp jacket is too cropped
i'd get the moncler gb jacket

if you're interested in other down jackets too, you could check stone island
some of them have interesting fabrics like therm-sensitive or reflective ones

Is that SLP one a full jacket or just a vest?  Either way, the Moncler one is easily the best of the 3 posted there.

Debating this DvN cardigan:

Only concern is that I'm a M typically. Seller lists the tagged size as large, P2P measurement of 21.5, but says it fits closer to a medium.

The P2P is larger than most of my knits currently.

Wondering if this is a good candidate for an oversize look, but I'm concerned I'll be swimming in it.

I'm 6', 165lbs.

Anyone got experience with DvN sizing?

That Dior puffer looks like a mall-brand rip-off of a (non-TB) Moncler jacket. I shudder to imagine the cost.

+1 on the Gamme Bleu being the only worthwhile option of the three.

It looks like one of those pieces where the sizing doesn't matter all that much.  That said, I'm ten pounds heavier than you and L is usually perfect; his knits seem to fit more consistently than his other clothes.

Both are Jil, both around $300. Which one? Or should I hold out in case I find some metallic Jil knit that's miraculously my size?

Or this?

I have that black one, it's pretty sweet, really soft. Fits kinda boxy iirc.

I think grey knits end up being kind of bland and hard to pair, but that might just be my wardrobe.  The black one is more interesting but doesn't look like it can be worn under anything.

one thing to be careful about that seller is that he exaggerates the condition of what he's selling (read: lies). when he and i traded zam pants, he said his were NWOT, when they were clearly worn rather frequently.

I have this in red and like it OK. The fabric and knit trim are nice, way better than your average nylon coach's jackets, which are essentially disposable. the underside of the collar has the same striped trim as the cuffs. It's not a really "wow" sorta jacket, though, and it lasted to deep sale online (<$100, if I remember right).
