At that price you can't really go wrong, should be no problem to flip either way.

I tried those out, and I liked the color but found them to be pretty uncomfortable. Something about the heel cup.

i found the same at first, dug into the bone on my ankle, but i just bent it back and fourth a few times to soften the leather on the heel counter, and now they're fine.

I'd pass on the jacket if I were you, tank looks cool

+1 - there are skinny lapels and there are skinny lapels.

It's a Geller Richard jacket. Lapels are meant to be worn up. Not sure why they're laid flat in most product shots.

The F/W one that was a thick, fluffy polyester fleece didn't work out for me, so I was thinking of giving this one a shot since the fabric seems to drape a little better.

Can you be more specific? I thought at least the patchwork one was cool.

That makes more sense. It's crazy short but that seems to fit with the style.

Honestly, when a coat conjures up a Dolly Parton song, you may want to think twice. More seriously, the styling seems quite dated - like 1970s dated.

Fiorentini + Baker

Or just get Momas?
i'm not really a fan of f+b's derbies. moma's usually have better shapes. those look like they miight have potential though.

I'm a fan of F+B's derbies. They've generally felt nicer than the Momas I've tried on - especially the Momas with smooth leather that's been distressed or treated or whatever - and I like the shape. peepwall[1].gif

They're my go-to when I want to switch back and forth among trousers, chinos, and jeans, so I usually wear them when I have to travel for work. They're a bit of a compromise shoe, but you gotta make compromises sometimes.

I'm not that crazy about the contrast stitching on that version, even if it arguably adds visual interest.

Anyway, I figure it's worth the cost of return shipping to try it on, so I picked up that and the 3.1 Phillip Lim tank.
