Hey all,

Was thinking of picking up these Allen Edmonds to wear casually with jeans. What do you think for $60?

I'll vote yes. Tattered jeans, baggy down coat for  hobocore extreme.

(I'm being sarcastic plz don't buy)

agreed, I would advise against buying something just because it's cheap (on sale, being sold second hand for cheap) and compromising on what you want and particular style. that said, yes, they would work with slim, dark denim.

yeah I like the idea of a beaten-up walnut derby, but you're going to hate the moc-toe, the chisel toe, and the weird broguing after a while. especially if you come across better derbies afterward

Look like the shoes has bene well worn. It doesn't worth the money.

Buy the grey-er one so that the bluish one is still available for me tongue.gif

In all seriousness, the cotton/silk blend sounds perfect for summer, if you can get some use out of it. I ordered an SC through them yesterday; we can be twinsies! I can't help but wonder what the cut will look like on an "atheletic" build - I'm happy to PM you once I find out.

^ You're a 50, though, right? Pretty sure everything I looked at in your last sales thread was too big for me. confused.gif

Except the shoes, of course, which were too small. confused.gif

edit: Much appreciated if you could PM me (or post your thoughts in the SW&D suits & blazers thread). No experience with Boglioli here.

Funny, I thought you were around a 50-52 for some reason. Yeah, I tried a 52 in the Boglioli SC; I feel like it's a total shot in the dark. Oh well.
