Fuuma, I think that ma-1 would actually be pretty awesome on you. Would look pretty great with the streetwear stuff you do sometimes.

Any particular reason? I know they are "cheap" boots, so there must be flaws, I just want to know what it is that makes it a no

the fact that they are cheap boots

tbh I was lusting after this immensely, then I saw it in person and was VERY disappointed. The ribbing is thin as hell and VERY itchy, and the leather on the jacket is pretty mediocre. The nylon is nice and the fit is good, but I seriously could not get over the ribbing.

So its not a visual thing, its just the knowledge that they wont last as long or patina/shine as well?

They will probably look fine and possibly fit fine as well, but ultimately you'll be getting a low quality, mass production made-in-china product that isn't worth the price tag. A lot of users here have an appreciation for well-crafted items made of good materials. If you're looking for longevity, the boot won't last, as its most likely glued to the sole instead of welted, meaning that it can't be replaced if it inevitably gets worn down from use. The leather, too, just won't wear as nicely as a quality pair of boots would, and I wouldn't trust them to take a beating.

Also I think they're kind of ugly.

I figured they would be disposable and not re-craftable. As far as the aesthetics go, do you find the proportions off? What is it that looks bad?

I need tapered pants, 7.25" hem or under with a 33-34 waist.  I have normal indigo raws that fit perfectly already, so I want something gray or navy.

APC PS Faux Noir

or

Ervell FW12 Navy Jeans

or

Ervell FW12 Gray Jeans (can't find pic, don't even know exact color lol)

or

Something else.  Zam B soft J pants in gray if I can even find these?

I already have black waxed jeans/black techn pants. Image in my head is to be worn with:

You can find a lot better shoes for around $200 if you read through the threads here and watch B&S.

To buy or not to buy?

And call me a retard, but isn't this technically a suit jacket? Yoox has it listed as a blazer but I see no metal buttons.

I'm not a fan of navy jeans NotCrispy. fistbump.gif on the Vandals though.

Crispy, aren't there any soft J's left on Zam B's sale on SZ? Depends on the look you're going for but I really recommend those.

You should bear in mind that they're not slim in the top block and differs a lot from say, APC PS.
