Yeah, get vans slipons instead. The soles on those are crazy.gif

Was hoping they'd be more durable. My current slip-ons are falling apart.

In my experience CP (i think that's what those are?) aren't worth it for durability. i.e they're maybe 3-4 times as durable as a pair of Vans or Converse, but 10x as expensive. They do look better, and I guess if you could find someone who can redo the sole when it starts to wear through they'd last a long time.

wurm as an FYI the branquinho outerwear I've tried has fit a size large, i'd double-check measurements unless you were aware of that

really? I have 2 pairs of CP sneakers - one of which is 3 years old, the other maybe 8 months or something - and they seem pretty fucking bulletproof to me. Do you just mean sole wear?

We need to find out where to buy CP soles and have cobblers resole with them

Been lusting over a black cashmere baseball cap lately, inspired by user _ironman's fits on Sufu:

I can add that I really like those fits and his whole aesthetic, so I would wear the cap in the same way.

His is from Borsalino, but it seems like no stores carry their cashmere cap any longer. Edit: found it, but very expensive.

Found this one from Belfry Murphy, which also appears to be a heritage cap maker with good reputation. It's the cheapest cashmere cap I've found by far, and it still has very good user reviews.

I know caps generally are disliked here, but I've worn them my whole life and feel comfortable in them. Usually end up buying one each spring and it feels like it's time now again laugh.gif

damn, was pretty intent on that luc. i still want it, but i'll give myself more time before committing either way. i like the patch pockets on the ann, but i also think it looks kind of cheap as fuck in a good way, but also in a way where it's something i actually wish i paid little money for.

yeah, the bane of my existence. i might actually try one out from there though. i do have a $200 credit that's just sitting after all. toasty gave me a rec that seems like it could be promising.

as for the branquinho, i'm gonna send a message to the seller right now about it to see if it's still available. i've long wanted a vb piece and this one seems like i could most easily work it into my wardrobe...not to mention it's beautiful in its own right. its tagged 48 and i think it fits tts, a bit thick which might make measurements seem bigger than it fits. worst case scenario i just layer something semi-thick underneath. definitely not big enough for a 50 imo. here they are:
s2s: 18"
p2p: 21"
sleeve: 26"
back length: 26"

vb jackets are tts

I think that's just about exactly the measurements of my bomber, which is also tagged a 48 but fits a size big.  If you have broad shoulders it might be ok?

quite broad shoulders
