Those yohji pants that he cropped were bad. Doesn't mean he needs to forget about yohji or whatever. He's posted plenty of very good fits.

Or fuck it, he can forget about yohji if he wants. I don't care and i don't get why so many people do.

don't worry. I may be occasionally snarky on the internet, but in real life I just wear my sweatpants backwards and snack on chips.

I was just taking the advice that I should start with a simpler tapered cut. If I got it in black I could wear it for medical school things with a normal button down, or wear it with my yohji and issey shirts with a more yohji fit. I liked the burgandy too but its probably more a love in the abstract that would not work on me for the color reason the conceptionist pointed out. Anyway, gonna hold off on the pants since I already have a black pair and the burgandy is out.

Instead im going to get this coat. I need a proper formal winter coat. And this is a nice yohji coat that is formal but still has some sweet yohji details

burgundy is an easier colour in pants to wear than black (0).

unless we're talking about jeans.

Ya I actually love it but I think that it would have to be a very particular shade to not look bad on my skin tone. Might be far too close otherwise and be a weird contrast.

do you have actual experience in this?

I've written off most of the skin tone commentary as bullshit tbh.
