Depends on the model. The Philips and the Dagger are total non-starters, fitting just as awkwardly as you describe, but the Danbury cut is actually fairly traditional. Like, I wouldn't feel weird wearing it to an interview. Oh and their one-button "ellington" jacket fits well too, but they rarely make it.

(i swear i don't work for rag & bone shog[1].gif)

I already have these CdG SHIRT, but they're too small on me so I never really wear them:

I need a casual low top trainer that isn't my pair of New Balances.  I'm thinking I should get something in white instead though, but I always liked those UC and now they're cheap.  Am I being blinded by the price?

I like the CdG shirt fwiw, UC less so. Dunno, something feels off about the UC

If you don't end up getting the CdG shirt, let me know where they are I have been wanting some low tops

Yeah.  I've never owned a pair of converse anything (chucks, JPs) and I feel like I could use something like that.  I think I'm gonna pass though.  If I get canvas low tops I think they should probably be white at this point.

Tween just get real navy chucks at Marshalls they'll be like $25.  I can't wear the damn things though.

I saw this brown leather croc embossed leather sneakers by Jimmy Choos at Nordy Rack for a bargain price of $299 down from $900. I don't know if I should get it. But I'm afraid that if I wear it in the subway and some dumb slacker accidentally stepped on it, I will have to eloquate the most dreaded line of a fashionista: " YOU RUINED MY JIMMY CHOOS SHOES!"

Well the reason I haven't owned any of those is that I really, really dislike the look of chucks and purcells.  Same goes for all vans and adidas I've ever seen.  I had a pair of checkered slip ons in middle school, but I really can't get down with any vans styles, at least on me.  I know they look good on lots of you though.

KoY, those second ones you posted could be sort of cool but that toe is awful.

I don't like the white Achilles either, or GATs.  Maybe I just don't like white low-tops or something?

I do like those CdG ones I posted, and it makes me wish I got them in off-white instead.

yeah superga are too ..slim? looking for me.  Along with any kind of plimsoll, or tretorns.  I don't know why I'm so picky, I just have an idea of what I want in my head and I'm not sure where to find it.  AnnD comes close, and nonnative comes even closer.  I'll save up and try and get my hands on some nn.  Worst case scenario I don't get them and keep working with what I've got but have saved up anyway :)

Edit: I sort of like the visvim skagway lows but for that money I'd go for nonnative first I think.
