Hi,

Bought this sports coat from tj maxx for 100$. Good? Bad? Ugly? Versatile?

The fit is good in the body, sleeves needs to be shortened. 100% wool outer shell and 100% cotton body lining. Very warm and could be worn as a big sweater, and a jacket on cold fall days. Keep or return?

yup. love my version of this coat as well. wish it was lined in cupro instead of cotton (too much resistance when wearing certain tops) but other than than its great!
can sleeves of coats be relined with cupro if i so choose? easy fix for a tailor?

yes

yes to Siki jacket. The wool is super heavy and warm, and that collar looks really cool when it's closed. I think it looks better in person than it does on that site and the price is really good.

whats the lining like??
just cotton twill...sorry snow. only the more formal Siki jackets have a bemberg lining. Otherwise it's cotton twill.

ah, so thats how it is tongue.gif
did you happen to handle the duffle coat? (without lining)
I did. It's also a super rugged wool. The wool is actually kinda scratchy, but it doesn't bother me. It's pretty long. You can see what I mean toward the bottom here: http://citiboyswag.blogspot.com/2012/03/on-stage-jonathan-kroppman-for-siki-im.html

My Yiddish literature courses finally prove their worth in the Real World™!

I only know a handful of Yiddish terms. frown.gif

Coincidentally, my Hebrew used to be really good; but I'd much rather know Arabic at this point anyhow.

Should I buy these?

I'm thinking about the fatigue black color (kinda greenish/olive).
