Should I or shouldn't I buy... (clothing item)? - Page 3

I have no idea what that says/means. This seems like it'd be a hard color to pair but I like it and think it'd probably complement my skin tone. I like this piece in theory, particularly the colors, but at the end of the day it's a sweater with a large stripe off center. I don't mind graphic tees; I'm fond of this MMM one though the price is terribly offputting. And that's on sale. How's the cashmere on BB Black Fleece? Not my style, typically, at all but for some reason I dig this - clubwear (FOR THE BITCHES) or paired with a suit, I think it'd look pretty good. Disregard frightening mannequin and watermark.

that second sweater with the black stripe has a Star Trek vibe to it.

Arethusa / whodini both share your opinion. I can see it as well. Perhaps I can wear it to my Trekkie event. Lanvin + Star Trek = profit.

These look like some really lovely loafers, cheap too. Should go well on a night out. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Dark-Brown-Sho...QQcmdZViewItem So, to buy or not to buy?

Mulansauce - I'd probably not go with that one - a merino wool cardigan is a wonderful thing, but it should have patch pockets - the slit pockets just look like they're trying to make casual dressy. And I'd say no on the arm ribbings too. Also, why go with grey and miss out on the wonderful opportunity a sweater offers for color? but that's my opinion.

Yay or Nay on this Dark Brown Burton waistcoat.

I think it would look good paired with a nice shirt, and its on sale for a tenner!

So, to buy or not to buy?
No, way to clunky. If you really want a loafer style that looks modern and stylish take a modernized penny loafers such as http://zeta.zappos.com/product/7406560/color/20

Those look much better, especially since they don't have squared toes on them. I'll see if I can find something similar. Any opinions on the brown waistcoat?

I want these but know better

The summer's turning over and the time to wear these is getting shorter. Also, metallic laceups (lace-type shoes here?) borders on a Euro type trend that may die next summer. Very hard to pull-off, even when done well I find them questionable. Unless you have a lot of money burning and don't like saving it then I'd say Nay.

You have alot of options for a brown mid sneaker, I'd recommend something a little simpler if you want brown, such as clae makes some very nice ones for 130ish http://www.clae.com/product.aspx?l=0...240&shop=true# , there are other options in the fw line as well.
