Are you looking for burgundy colored skinny jeans or just burgundy colored pants in general? MMM has these wool ones that look pretty good. I bought the blue ones and thinking of grabbing the burgundy as well.

@Urthwhyte, I don't know how you happen to know that, but thanks for the info!

Do you happen to know if ssense is also pretty accurate in their sizing guides? They've labeled a size 32 as 17.25'' in the waist, which just seems unusually large for a size 32...

KJ, I saw those jeans there too, but those are 100% cotton (I'm guessing no stretch); and I imagine their jeans differ in cut from their trousers.

Nations, I'm not diggin those Margiela, but thanks for the suggestion. satisfied.gif

Don't buy them. Not because they're bad per se, but you because you are buying them due to their popular status as a wardrobe staple. Most of my purchases of this type have rarely seen wear-- e.g. Common Projects, chino pants, navy blazer. In each case I thought "they're not 100% my thing, but they're inoffensive timeless pieces and thus good staples to have in my closet."

I tried on a pair of his pants about a year ago. I believe it was the smallest size, yet they looked far too large on me. (Very roomy in the thighs). Admittedly I'm pretty skinny, but my experience makes me suspect his stuff is cut rather generously.

Should I get this?

On another note, does anyhow know how Jil sander dress shoes fit? I requested for measurements from SSense and they replied an IT40 is 11.75inch..which is huge. the rest of my size 40's generally range from 11-11.2

Yeah there's a matching jacket. Matches and Saks has it, don't know about other stores.

I was just looking at those, think they're pretty nice if you don't mind the extra chunky sole and the contrasting eyelets.

yeah they're pretty nice but I wasn't sure about chunky soles with the slim trousers I usually wear...would be a nice gift to myself though satisfied.gif

Thinking about this J.Crew Abraham Moon tweed piece, at a price of $170 shipped. Thoughts?
