I started to type more when I posted that but decided to stop.

What I was going to say is that nice knits use long staple fibers and can take a lot of abuse before they start to pill. Cheap knits pill sitting on the fucking rack and feel nowhere near as nice.

Re: merino I have some jil merino knits that have zero fuzz and wear like iron. Of course this is 07-08 jil and it ain't like that any more.

I used to hate merino years ago (overused for marketing like "cashmere" is) but when I handled high end shit it is actually mind blowingly nice.

Never been impressed with any rl jumpers (purple label or not).

and yeah, hem is a bit small imo
