Would you say the armholes are particularly high or low? That's usually my biggest gripe about jackets.

@Steve, the BBBF scotch grain boots are nice, but the fact that they went to a charity event and cleaned out the stock to flip on Ebay is kind of iffy

maybe just me

Any opinions/ideas style forum?

Thanks!

don't buy this shit. vests only look good if they are 1) down/puffer 2) heavy tweed and worn with a jacket over them.

Well, people typically ask about particular outfit advice, or ask where they can buy such an such an item, as their first post. But this guy has posted two fairly decent looking coats, suggesting he has some style, which isn't often the case for new forum members.

Made from a felted wool mix, with a v-neckline and raw-cut edges.

What is felted? :D its material looks somewhat interesting.

from wikipedia teacha.gif

Wool felt and felted wool are similar to boiled wool, all of these processes date back to at least the Middle Ages. The word felt itself comes from West Germanic feltaz

Felt is a non-woven cloth that is produced by matting, condensing and pressing woollen fibres

alls i know is that its usually thick. not sure if its itchy but my boiled wool stuff isnt. does cos have a crew/round neck version of that?
