I had an SI jacket which I did not like in terms of quality (glad it was not mine!). Is SP any better?

@Reedo I don't know what I'm doing either. I was going to get a laptop but found one in working condition for free so.. shog[1].gif All I wanted was to complete this look

The 10C is nice, but I don't think its worth the 4k+ or whatever they're charging for the complete look.

Arxteryx veilance ftw

its not 4k its like 1000 for the jacket and liner can be had on sale for like 500 fucking guys

That thing could be made of the finest dragon dicks this side of The Wall and it'd still look like doofy army surplus gear

you sound like one of those yelp reviewers writing a one star review of a restaurant you didn't like the front facade of son

I will be honest, I am not really educated in Tech Fabrics; Moncler Padded blazer was about the most expensive one I owned, and other than that, its all Patagonia, TNF, etc. AKA uglies not for looks. (Returned that black Arcteryx hah!) So I really appreciate the input.

I have a couple puffy winter jackets already (Thanks Brad) and wanted an olive Military-ish jacket that I can wear 3 seasons once I graduate and live on the street because I can't do shit with Psychology degree.

I do agree that Veilance look nice, but I am more EG and Barbour guy with 4 jackets and 3 jeans total. Slim and elegant clothes can go to slim and elegant guys.

But do they really go on sale? From what I see that there is no black Shearling liner left anywhere and Suede Shearling is going out steadily.

Haha I hate bad Yelp reviews

But nah, I have no exp with the brand, just think that's an outrageous price no matter what

Has anyone handled/bought a Uniform Wares watch? I'm looking at the 203 series but not sure if it's worth the money: http://www.uniformwares.com/203-series-pvd-gun-grey-or-black-leather

Just bought the 150 rose gold from oki-ni. I'll let you know when i recieve it. All reviews seem pretty positive and if you like the design it's seems pretty easy to justify the cost.

Ok, give us the straight facts ceoceo, you silly goose!
The nylon liner is 250
The shearling liner is 800
The green parka is 1200

Not 4000 dollars. Looks cool as the whole setup but you can probably skip out on the nylon liner. I just checked haven and the shearling and parka are sold out. So unless jet divulges his hookup to you you're out of luck laugh.gif

Shadow project is great, have and handled a few pieces. The shells are nice and solid and the bonded fabrics are super interesting. There is more emphasis on design with SP compared to regular Si, IMO. It's like buying arcteryx vs veilance.
Too many ACRONYMS in the 2nd last sentence...pun intended biggrin.gif

I'm not going to defend the price but this argument is fucking stupid.

You're talking about a very fucking expensive jacket here and a very, very high quality shearling liner.

Now, if you ran a business model like TOJ you might be able to get it cheaper.

But that's not the way the rest of the world works. THis is a fucking nice jacket with exceptional materials and hence it is fucking expensive.

Yes you could get 10 uniqlo jackets for the price but guess what? he doesn't want 10 uniqlo jackets he wants the ten-c with the nice fucking shearling liner.

Losing serious respec for you ceoceo

Losing serious respect for you, reedobandito.

Listen to this man.

Having said all that I think the nylon liner is pretty nice too. I would cop that but if you really want the shearling, and are prepared to spend that money, go for it.
