I have some greens, crocketts and corthay but would like to try some less sleek shoes in cordovan. (Will take some getting used to.)
What about these ravellos on the modified last?
Florsheim by Duckie Brown has some brogues/derbies that use color in more subdued ways. So you get your colors without the risk of prompting vomiting spells.
A quick google search found these:
I was also going to suggest Mark McNairy, but from his website, it looks like he's become (or always was?) as anti restraint as those AEs you posted.

Thanks for taking the time to share these examples with me. I'll look into those.
So that I understand/learn...what is it that you (or anyone else) dislike about those olive neumoks that I posted? The color? The brougue-ing? The silhouette?

The broguing and shape are fine-- the shoe just uses three colors that are super bold but not necessarily harmonious.
They seem nice and I like the modified last. Would prefer a ravello modified boot but that seems hard to find.
These are nice but not modified. (tassels, HK)

haha, i like how you laced one in US style and the other in GB style. Where can one get these?
Yeah that's the most recent photo I had, was debating how to lace them... I got this off b&s new from someone who got them from shoemart seconds list. You can get them from Anatomica Paris but retail is something crazy like 900 euros
