Should I or shouldn't I buy... (clothing item)? - Page 1859

Yeah, I dunno, I've been looking for a simple carry on sized leather bag. Most bags in the $500 or less range have pretty terrible leather (or I'd have to take a chance on a brand I've never heard of). I'm assuming commissioning a MTM duffel/weekender would be pretty pricey, even with fairly standard leathers.

I would only be using it for short trips/travel.

Going off the dimensions definitely too big for day-to-day, as a weekender it would be great, and the price is nothing to complain about.

There was a smaller version of the damir bag on yoox but it was for 600+

I like that duffle bag. It can be used as everyday bag if it is not huge.

i found leather weekender bags to be really heavy...they're actually kind of annoying to carry around for significant durations. maybe that's just me or i haven't found one to my liking yet.

+1, leather weekenders are only good if it's sitting in the back of your car on a short trip, say to Napa or Palm Springs or something like that.

Margiela leathers, how do they fit? TTS?
tts is the general consensus. You might be able to size up depending on the model, but generally it will be too big unless you are between sizes.

I believe Artishard had the same questions a few weeks back. You should PM him (if you are inquiring about MMM boots/shoes)

Sneakers are TTS

Wool

stephan-schneider-scarf-sinbad.jpg
Cotton
or neither? (I wanted the SS Poncho Tapestry (Tartan) but is sold out)

The Schneider scarf is really nice, I have it. Super soft and the pattern is awesome. I might post a fit sometime.

There is nothing wrong with heavy leather duffels are you walking around ny with it in your hand?

Poncho is kinda cool, not sure how I feel about the button front though.

Is a zipper any better? I would like a poncho type scarf that will stay in place. I guess I can just toss the bad boy over my shoulder and let it drape, dgaf -- flailing in the wind like I just don't care.

Parker needs to post his SS buy so I can get an idea of it. So jelly

Sorry, this is all dick shit.

The price is insane, but for some reason it's the only bomber I like. Should I get the first one or put down an extra 500 for the leather one or don't get either?

Also, I'm desperately looking for nice combat boots. I like these, but they're from a couple years back.. Any suggestions for similar ones which I can buy now?:
