what coat is the 2nd one Brad? Looks nice and I maybe interested as well.
I will check out the Carmina pre-order ...
Shah that hat is dope. Much better than what I saw in that webshop based on that SF store. I like it but only because I find it ridiculous, ridiculous awesome looking worn both ways. More than anything though it suits you. A bit similar to another hat you have worn before with more detailing.
For the dude asking about the Uniqlo, have you tried any of it on in person? Don't buy it all at once. You will regret it. The Uniqlo Tasmanian jacket is cool and works as a beater. I would not rely on it as your primary suit.

A beater is exactly what I need. I bought the micro down and I gata say it's so nasty man. Best down I've had in a while.

I personally would not buy that many basics unless you already own a few interesting pieces, which it sounds like is not the case.

What's considered "interesting", I want you and other peoples opinions because in all honestly I do have problems in that category in terms of clothes.

People are saying buy a few boring things at a time. If you like it, keep buying. What's the difference between spending $100 in increments rather than $700 in one blow? Maybe you'll want other things along the way. Those basics aren't going anywhere.

hey man, chill and take a breather to enjoy the view.

you will steadily find out what is interesting to you and what is considered interesting among the forum members.

if you are in a rush to find out you'll never fully appreciate and understand, and it will reflect in your dress.

pickup the Uniqlo if you must (Buy it on promo sale), but to a lot of people, spending $700 on a lot of basic pieces is just not being very considerate to your future self.
when you see, read, and learn more, in hindsight you will realize that $700 you spent on Uniqlo that one time could have been blown on other things.

Take a look at this thread and you will see what some people find interesting:

I'd like to clear some things up, right now I have no where near the amount of money it would take to buy all this stuff. I'm just simply putting these clothes inside of a bookmark folder and seeing if that's what I want to buy at that time. Now of course the uniqlo I planned to buy all at the same time, but that's uniqlo. Just to reiterate, no I'm not buying all this at the same time. I'll probably start off with the pants first then work my way through the rest. Or maybe I'll get a TOJ leather jacket first I don't know, but I'm not getting all this at the same time, I'm probably going to hit up some stores for ideas.

I have gotten that feeling a couple of times, that being said I gotchu, you and 7 other people, I know don't buy a shit ton of uniqlo all at once, test the waters. Still much appreciation for you taking the time to help me out though.

I saw that thread, but really I saw nothing different from that thread and what I want to wear.

That thread has some wildly different stuff. I think you are painting an unclear picture. Maybe if you picked a few after spending some time [so not a day, give it a few weeks] browsing that really piqued your imagination/interest and then with that looked for items to purchase.

You could always just kop the started pack items KoY (i think it was you haha) suggested biggrin.gif

Just buy:

1x TOJ
20x Hanes
1x APC
1x Chucks

Same amount of money as you're proposing to spend, and you'll look far better.

To clarify what I posted earlier, nothing you've proposed is bad or offensive. It's just all very average basics, and unless you literally own zero clothes right now, I can't imagine you needing that many items that are all so similar. The nice thing about taking your time is you can find (or as is more often the case, create) voids in your wardrobe and your style will slowly grow and shift as you seek to fill these perceived voids. Otherwise you're going to spend a ton of money and come out looking perfectly average -- of course there are far worse things you could do with your money.

I can agree with this, but the guy seems to at least want to go for a flattering style using higher quality fabrics..i'd at least change to..

1x TOJ

8x Everlane

1x Dior Homme or a nice fitting MIJ pair of denim in grey (although your style suggests blue/indigo, possibly washed)..Nudie, N&F, and even APC will do the trick as well.. actually even a pair of Robert Geller Type B sized up would look cool.

1x Common Projects

1x Boots (i'm on the hunt myself)

This is pretty much where you'd want to start, and even then, you'll probably need to save for this.

also, you mentioned getting 4 years out of your clothes. you might want to change that mentality.. for starters you'll eventually want other clothes and be bored of what you have.. #2 luxury/higher quality does not mean longevity (but, it will still be far better than the stuff you'll find in a mall).

Come on guys it's not suppose to be like a kid playing Yu-Gi-Oh cards.

It's like you're whipping out your deck and showing off your deck build.

Really lame
