Viridi-anne.. boots are sick, but still pretty expensive.. any idea on the quality of both pants and boots?

Thanks guyz, was leaning towards the Geller too to wear with the plokhov (hopefully it won't look to grey on grey), might get the SS trous too for other occasions (like to war with my MDR!)

Blex I think you gotta decide what you're aiming for, you've been posting what seems to be completely random designers for awhile.  Viridi-Anne is going to go mostly with goth-ninja type stuff, so if that's what you want then yea it's good quality, but if not it's gonna sit in the closet.

 

For that kind of money you'd be better off with mmm side-zips, or guidi back-zips if you want to go all-out.  Either will be easier to incorporate into outfits.  Also, I'm not really in love with the round toe on the VA. 

 

And pass on the jeans, drop-crotch jeans is just weird.

I didn't think this was too crazy or out there to be honest.. although the shoes will probably get old after a while. I do like the way both items sort of stack, but didn't really notice the trousers as drop crotch.. i'm gonna stop by h lorenzo again and ill take a fit pic. 

What do you guys think, will this look come out like grey on grey? Would be buying these jeans mainly to wear with this leather and my black MDR:

Just pickup some Twill Slim Fit jeans from Uniqlo

I believe if I remember correctly that there are a straight black (trying to remember if it was faded). Pretty sure it is black...

Or get the SS trousers.

Those RG would not match the Plokov. Alternatively, just check out BlackBird. They tend to always carry good black trousers/jeans. I just wouldn't recommend those RG for the sole purpose of wearing with your new leather. On its own it is a nice pair of bottoms.

I don't mind the shoes, but these are awful. Don't do it.

I think those Geller jeans will go perfectly fine with the Plokhov leather.

They're grey jeans. Maybe you don't like them (I would be interest to hear clear, 'objective' reasons why that don't involve their fit on that particular model -- I've got no dogs in this race) but how on earth do you justify calling them "awful" completely without qualification and then moving on to something else?

Consensus seems positive. Cyc is selling them for pretty cheap, makes it less risky anyways.

Wish these were just $300 cheaper:

They're pseudo drop crotch with ridiculously skinny thighs. It defeats the purpose of drop crotch, which hardly ever looks good in denim anyway.

I know I know, that's probably why he likes them. OTOH he might be looking at them because they're Viridi-Anne/because they're on sale.


Also, I don't think I need to add "IMHO" to every opinion I state. It's clearly a "subjective" opinion, as is pretty much everything in fashion. I don't know how you expect us to contribute objectively here.

If he likes them anyway he should just buy them but that's pretty obvious. Noone should be taking anyone's opinion as law.

I think you can probably find something that looks pretty similar for much cheaper. They just look like black sweats.

Idk if the material/quality will be as up to par but 300 bucks probably would cover that gap


Also to hendrix, I think it was more of an issue of perhaps stating those things rather than just saying no thats awful since thats more helpful in determining if the advice is something you will or will not apply
