Someone posted a fit with a jacket like that a while back.. it was awesome. Juun J?

oh yeah! hurhur with the blazer hybrid

snow you could totally pull off one of those Juun J jackets, you should definitely get one if one pops up for sale.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Description says it's gradient navy/black and the chain is oxidized (darkened) silver. I've wanted one of these for a while, but...
$225 starting bid, +$25 shipping (all black feather/normal silver version retailing at LN-CC for $579.77 - $463.82 w/o VAT)
Kind of concerned about how often I'll actually wear this. I've never worn necklaces though I've been fond of this one for a while.
And is it too feminine? I know this is subjective but still would like some opinions.

Make one. It's on my list of shit to make.

Yes this is a good point and the idea came across my mind but I wouldn't really know where to begin. I mean, I imagine I would need a special dye and I don't really know where to get something to stick the feather into. I'm guessing finding a silver necklace wouldn't be too hard but oxidizing it might be a bit difficult, I'm not sure. I'm guessing it would be a lot less expensive, though. I just wouldn't want to end up with a failure of a DIY version.

Isn't the point of this thread to hear other posters' opinions, positive and negative ?

I'm considering only two yeses on the Nanamica jacket to be a collective no.

Just wrap silver wire around the end of the feather, leaving a loop at the end, and then do this. Easy.

it's cool, i like it. at this point i don't think your wardrobe really has any "holes" (I may be wrong) so if you like it and have the $ and think you'll wear it, buy it, but people can't really be like "oh yeah, thats something you definitely need."

the only caveat may be that it might look a little juvenile for you. as i said i really like it and think it would look good on me (shog[1].gif).

Well, I don't have a remotely stylish summer rain jacket, probably because it never rains here in summer. But, I keep telling myself that, from time to time, I surely visit places that rain in summer. I wonder if it makes sense for a rain jacket to be indigo, though. I can only imagine wearing it in a rainstorm with a pair of khakis. Would it bleed indigo all over them?

In other news:
If yes, which one (or both)? My other pair of Chucks (the only pair of sneakers I own) are looking a little beaten up. These are both linen, pretty cheap, and I could use some summer sneaks.

shoemart alden seconds

what say ye?

If the price is right you cant really go wrong with it (quality wise). They are however not what you would consider a sleek boot and quite heavy.
