I have literally no sneakers any longer, so I'm thinking of picking up a pair of MMM Replica in either black or brown from TBS. I'm thinking the brown would probably be more versatile, but I really like the suede on the black. Thoughts?

I understand, but I haven't been able to find the MMM Replica in white or creme other than http://www.tresbienshop.com/replica-leather-sneaker-creme-white and they don't have it in my size. Maybe it's not part of their F/W lineup?

Black is much more versatile than brown: check eBay for the whites, as they're even better.

you have to be on the ball to get the standard whites.  anytime they sniff sub 300, it gets sold out.  always available at full retail tho like 4 bills.  I wouldn't limit my search to just large retailers with a webshop either.

Cost is no longer prohibitive, and they're holding it for me.
