Should I or shouldn't I buy... (clothing item)? - Page 1761
I would say that you shouldn't size up unless you want to.
My Dries Van Noten veber bomber jacket fits true to size. It's this design.
I usually wear 48/50 in outerwear, bought both sizes in the style smilingcat has, and kept the 50. It runs short and does not look good snug.
ahhh... i'm pretty much between m and l as well. good tip, thanks
this explains why i didn't see this jacket in the ss12 mens show, although i did see it at barneys.
How do you like yours? Dries makes this design year after year. It is somewhat classic style. I love mine.
I wear veber in a 46 and I am somewhere between 44 to 46. Usually wear small in outerwear though. I agree that it runs rather short (except sleeves) and slim. Too snug fitting is never good jackets like this.
This shows how it's supposed to fit...
Can I wear with jeans? Budget ~$200 for new pair (cost $160ish)
Both of those look very similar. If that's what you like and want, then sure, but personally I think both would be poor choices.
What do you think about something like these?
Looking for something between business and casual, perhaps like what a 21 year old with a little fashion sense might wear to a nice nightclub with jeans, however I want a daily pair which is my only worry with the D&G that they might be a little 'too' sleek for wearing around college...
Not bad but perhaps a little too plain, I quite like the suede and 'darker brown - > black/possibly grey' shades with a little bit of patterns to make them seem a little more casual.
Probably worn with darker denim (slim tapered, as I'm slim and tall, so the thicker shoes might not fit ?).
Any other thoughts :)?
