This color (steel gray) shows up almost lavender on some shop pics. Anybody seen these in person?
Are those nubuck or regular leather? If regular, I have a pair, and they don't look lavender at all

Whereabouts can one find those bad boys (in a 45 or so)?

Nubuck.

MMM e-shop had an almost full size run on the canvas highs like 1 hr ago, now almost all gone. I think LN-CC or Oki-Ni still has them.

Can't justify the new white on white Resilles shog[1].gif they eat into my MC shoe budget too much.

I received the Stronghold jeans I bought, and the waist measurement is, of course, at least an inch larger than advertised. I'm trying to decide if I should ask for a return (possibly Ebay claim), or give them a hot soak. There's no mention of them shrinking, so I might not get much shrinkage. (But, the inseam is 38", which usually doesn't happen with non-STF jeans)

Or, I could just wear them a bit big for a change and do crazy shit like tuck sweaters into 'em.

Opinions?

that's weak. I'm going to be in Venice tomorrow AM, do you want me to stop by and yell at them?

but seriously, a full inch sounds like a lot to ask in terms of shrinkage in the waist. is there any reason why you can't just exchange for the next size down?

If they aren't sanforized they will shrink ~3% in the waist and a little more if you hot wash and machine dry fyi 3% of 32" is more than a full inch.

^That's just what the guy at Stronghold just told me, too. I got the bright idea to call smile.gif I won't dry them, but at least I will try a hot soak.

Stan, I got them off Ebay, so no. Worse comes to worse, it will at least me interesting to have the option of a looser jean. Everything else I have is slim-straight.

my N&F sanforized denim shrunk on average 4% all over, especially the hem by about 0.5-0.7 inches, and the inseam which barely stacks anymore, this is with 2 machine cold washes

im not sure what my point is

Are you sure about the colorway? Will be hard to wear..

I have never owned a MMM side-zip, but from what i read you need a 44.5 or 45 if posible.
