Endurance sports don't (or shouldn't) slim you down to that extreme, sounds like you might wanna force down a few hardboiled eggs after working out or something.

Yeah you're right, they're on sale though so I wouldn't be able to return them if they fit wrong, sucks.

Geller jeans have the weirdest fit. I always get what you describe as well.

I have a very slim build, and a pound off is a few seconds on all the local climbs. I'm as comfortable with my weight as you are with how much you can lift, or whatever metric it is you use for personal fitness. Makes buying clothes harder, but everyone has their peculiarities to deal with

Fair enough; I actually lost 5 lbs in like the last week and it did make cycling considerably easier.  FWIW I haven't been in a gym in well over a year and have no idea what I can lift
