Ha I actually did buy a pair of their GAT look alikes, but in person the sole was really chunky (the chunkiness was highlighted by the contrast in color) and the shoes sort of looked like skate shoes so I returned then. These look far more like replicas though, and I found the quality on the first pair to be really, really good

If your CPs are on the tight side, size up one for GAT
If your CPs are slightly roomy, don't size up.
If your CPs fit perfectly, ask yourself if you'd prefer a snugger or looser shoe.

Thanks for the advice there's a 42 in the sales I might take a try on (I'm between 42-43)

you pretty obviously want CPs, so why don't you save up for a few more weeks/sell something and buy them? this is a classic example of trying to get something cheaper as an alternative to the piece you really want.

Usually I would agree with this logic and have been disappointed by purcahses in the past for this very reason, but these shoes are literally almost identical minus the gold stamp and hype. CPs are overpriced. Pretty sure these are made in the same factory or at least with some of the same materials.

whatever dude, but you're going to try and flip them in a week anyway.

remember that time you bought mr. b boots instead of buying real ones?

not trying to be a dick, just trying to help.

Lol but those two products were drastically different from one another, and that was more a matter of my style focus changing then dislike for the boots themselves. And if I end up flipping these on B&S, they're cheap enough that I doubt i'll lose more than some shipping costs.

But I get where you're coming from, I've ended up flipping like 100 things over the past year that ended up not working out. I think flipping is just part of the game

By chunkier do you mean that they fit wider?
Or are they as narrow as CPs.

Chunkier more as in a bulkier, puffier body and a really large sole. It looks as though the Achilles ones aren't shaped in the same way. I'm also really not used to wearing sneakers/chunky footwear, so my impressions are not totally trustworthy. But like I said, really good quality. Very hefty, heavy and solid construction
