FWIW I'm a size 11
I'm not the guy to ask about hitops - I only like Raf Astros and CP BBalls, both of which are hard to find - but I like and have a pair of grey side zips myself. It's an excellent colour for footwear.
With that budget you could get some Paul Smith's from ebay uk, but I think that's a better budget for sneakers as you could get something really nice, but side zips you get something just above average for that price.
