Blue, but I'm biased because I look bad in that other color.  The blue iz pretty tho.

same hat, different angle? blue is cooler colour, brown is more versatile for your palette methinks

I also think the blue one is nicer, but the other one would be easier to put into most outfits.

i don't like buying the same item in two colors usually so i have to go with one. i think most are right that the blue (actually "jade") looks nice but that the brown one would probably flow better with colors of my closet

Honestly though, both are great. Blue is a bit more unique. What are the brands?

Oh and should I buy a greyish beige linen SS scarf?

I'm always tempted to buy scarves, but... I never actually wear scarves.  Why, brain?

Sure, for starter denim or anything in the sub-$200 category I'd define quality as materials sourced from countries known for producing good denim like Japan, Italy, Turkey, etc., utilizing ring/ring construction, with aesthetically pleasing details IE minimal/no branding, clean and straight stitching, consistent rivet placement, things of that nature. My biggest complaint about APC is the inconsistency in construction; belt loops, rivets, etc. should all be evenly place throughout the garment for denim in this price point.

Don't let that stop you. In fact, you should take it as a challenge to prove me wrong. Honestly, I don't really see the hats working with what you wear, but that may just be my lack of imagination.
