To be honest, I think the other jacket seems to be at odds with your style as well. I dunno, can't put my finger on it but from your other purchases I think that one wouldn't be a particularly great one.

Check the Nike Streak III's out. Ran my fastest marathon in those shits. They are light as fuck and are better ventilated than the free's IMO. But I dont really lift, just run.

You may be right. That I posted it here demonstrates I am a little uncertain about it.

junhashimoto specifically calls it a "Valstar type" jacket. So I did some searches for Valstar and found this good explanation....

Obviously the junhashimoto one more closely follows the original design than does the TOJ version. Although looking at these real Valstar jackets, I don't think they fit within the range of my current style at all! So while the jun version edges it a bit closer, it's still a bit of stretch for me. I'll probably pass.

I heel strike bad so I can't even touch frees. kind of wish I could though, everyone seems to love them.

leather is better than any julius out there, but I dont like the double layers on a leather, looks really odd, im more of a minimalist and you seem to be as well. I would get a tamer julius leather, maybe a moto or something. Not feeling the design on both of these. If the incarnation one was one layer id say go for that.

The julius jut neck is kinda overdone design wise, the seam work, and treatment, and extremely exaggerated collar, at least from photos gives a very costumey appearance. Maybe get a SS08/FW09 jutneck if you can. Or preferably on you, a SS10 moto.

This is due to the larger & higher placed pockets, the stitching across the middle, the wider double stitched area around the ribbing, and the slimmer arms. The TOJ simply looks less special to me and as such I don't really feel drawn to it.
I believe the appeal of "MTM" is that issues such as this can be dealt with. laugh.gif

I have those in brown tan leather. Easily my most used shoes since I bought them.

Works with most casual wear. I'd say buy.
