Not sure - should I or shouldn't I? 100% cotton, really want some chinos (skinny fit) but don't have loads to spend.

Big yes to the top two, simple yes to the bottom. I'm a sucker for ervell's shtick though.

What do you like about the gradient jacket? I don't find it appealing at all. The pants look like they are made out of someone's curtains. I can't imagine seeing someone out in the town wearing those, unless they were just craving attention.

Those chinos are terrible. Pockets, stitching, fit...just terrible.

The gradient jacket has a nice shade of blue going to a nice shade of cream/pink, it drapes nicely but would still be relatively slim in the sleeves and body when buttoned, kind of like mellowfellow's aesthetic. The pants are actually not at all like curtains, it's hard to see in this photo but it is a unique rust effect using oxidized particles of metal. Actually looks more like a kind of marble/rock texture up close. Pic below.

Re: the chinos, the pockets go with the sagging style they have going, this works to me because the rest of the leg is very slim so the pants do end up fitting well with just a hint of sag in the top block for a bit of looseness. I don't mind the seam running towards the centre of the leg at the bottom, it looks like it probably helps with keeping the taper of the chinos really slim and close to the leg.

saw them today, liked them even more in person but couldn't pull the trigger even on sale. Look too much like
