Do you think either of these would be worth it for my budget? Which model would you recommend and why? (I've read that certain people prefer the Classics and others the Cayman II, but I'm not sure which to choose.)

Alternatively, I've heard decent things about SAS loafers and I think there might be a local dealer. Should I look into these instead?

Thanks.

Holla at ebay if you really want AE loafers. I just searched for "Allen Edmonds loafer" and got a page full of them substantially less than $100.

actually its pretty smart, considering lots of people aren't 6ft-6ft2... and so you can see how long X item would look on someone that isn't tall.

Yeah I only got an inch or two on the guy so it's helpful. I wish more places would post their model's heights/weights.

I try that on every time I'm in bellevue, if you take the 46 before it hits sale, you're gonna get banned from the forum

The belt looks great when it's not styled as severely as the runway picture - doesn't need to be cinched tight

I'm afraid its not "classic enough" I just don't want to look down on my finger 30 years from now and think wtf??

I've liked that RG sweater since last year, when Acontinuouslean had a preview. It looked like a faded/washed cotton, which is a nice change from lux cashmere blends. I don't know how to size RG stuff these days--I used to feel it fit a little small. Quality is usually pretty good.

I was just thinking, you will probably have that EXACT thought if you buy this ring. But really that's the beauty of classic pieces, they are classic, timeless. I think you would do well to find something modern but simple and stylish, in a way that your for example grandmother would still appreciate. The kind of beauty that transcends fashion and trends. Oh and congratulations

I just don't want to get something too "boring" I guess. This peice really appeals to me b/c I've never seen a ring like that before. But the future wifey says it looks too casual to be a wedding band - something I'd wear /w jeans. Which I do all the time when I'm not in the office..for god sakes I'm in the SW&D threads...
