Should I or shouldn't I buy... (clothing item)? - Page 98

^Well, it's from the Thom Browne collab, so I'd think it'd fit decently slimmer than most Brooks, even if it isn't quite TB mainline. Fit notwithstanding, how incredibly hard would it be to pull off?

With some confidence? Not ridiculously hard. Black Fleece stuff probably isn't slim enough for you without tailoring

OK, I'll keep my eye on it during sale season then. My only worry is that tailoring would fuck up the patchwork pattern.

Adidas Gazelle black. I don't own any black shoes.

^I wouldn't. My friend has a pair of blue Gazelles and they look kind of like bowling shoes/generally retro in a bad way in person. Nike blazers are nice if you can get them in simple colorways. If you're feeling a little spendy, the APC x Nike looks really nice.

smaller in the width of the arms, and tighter in the chest. The white oxford is definitely a thicker material.

Okay, how about these ? They seem a little more interesting than regular white vans, while still being classic and versatile.

I honestly don't think a garishly colored lining/sole adds much interest, but to each, his own. Chrispy, the hoodie looks like a cool piece, but I feel like B.Son is one of those brands that seems really awesome on the internet and then just looks silly/fad-ish in person.

That's one of the reason I like Vans so much, though - those litttle touches add some flav. I thought about copping a pair of those white/pink jawnz.

And I sort of disagree on B.Son; if you own or are planning to buy at least a couple other hoodies with unique features it's a nice addition. If you've got a closet full of AA or even W+H and then you have you're one crazy steez hoody, it doesn't work as well. Does that make any sense?

Anyway, it's nice stuff at a decent price point.

thats what im afraid of.

You'll like that bson piece infinitely less in person after wearing it once or twice. I'm all for cool impact type pieces, but i'm speaking from experience with bson here. The fabric and fit are pretty nice though.

Hey Chrono, how is your teaching related clothing transformation coming along? Im hoping to be accepted to a grad school (for a doctoral degree) position soon, and am starting to wonder how much of the weirder/vintage/"rugged" stuff Ill have to phase out at work...
