i was on the fence too but passed, there will be one for winter in a much better fabric, this one is like either satin or crappy canvas depending on the model.

Material isn't straight up cotton, it's a bit shiny. Heavy cotton/wool mix twill.

It looks ok on the hanger, but I have a lingering suspicion it will look retarded when worn. I'd be worried that the context created by the leather clashes with other people's expectations. Whereas if it were a nylon down coat, everyone already expects those to make you look like the stay-puft dude. Need to see a fit pic of someone wearing it before we can say for sure.

Damn, that bad? BTW I was considering the canvas, not satin. I'm not sure if it is similar to the scuba I have but I really like the material on the scuba.

I like it, luv the seaming detail that connects to the slash pockets and yoking of the funnel/convertible collar of the jacket. I like that the collar is so high that you don't need to wear a scarf. How much does this kind of jacket cost?

Jacket definitely looks much better in this fit pic, I think it has to fit really close to the body like in the pic to look good though.

It's not bad at all-- far better than I imagined. I can see you pulling it off as well as that model, provided it fits you similarly.

It does remind me a little bit of scuba gear, but in a good way.

Did you just reference bioshock? Did we just become best friends?

That is an aggressive jacket. You could pull it off perhaps. I would look like a jackass.

I got cold feet on selling my intarsia. Now I have 3 ricks. One really should go, but I do not want to sell...
