I don't know anything about the brand in general. I only have that pair I bought at Project No.8 and the quality isn't bad at all. They may have completely differnt factories making the casual boots and the dressy shoes - no idea.

id most likely wear this over dress shirts and with trousers.

APC does not fit tts in my experience. You have to size up one like BoO
