and it's pretty hard to tell the cut on the mannequin. The armholes could be low and there could be not much waist suppression. also length might be long.

at least it's 2 button not 3. I don't find the colour or pattern particularly interesting though.

but it's the best pricing you'll find.

I'll grant that it's boring, but for someone whose only other sport coat is a navy blazer, is this a good one to get for #2? I've seen a lot of pictures here and in blogs and in catalogs showing the versatility of herringbone jackets.

Topman.com also has some new tweed products for reasonable prices (Harris Tweed).

A micro-herringbone would work a lot better, that screams middle aged high school teacher.

Thanks everyone for your very helpful guidance. I think I'll pass on the jacket I posted on the previous page. It's these little details that make it extremely hard to find the "right" one. The J. Crew one looks nice, but thw 2.5" lapels seem really narrow. I don't want super wide ones, of course, but I think about 3" would look perfect. There are some good looking ones at high prices, but I don't really want to spend more than $250. There are some okay ones below this price point, but they're cropped at the hip. I want something closer to a traditional length.

Thoughts on this sweater? Looking to add a little color into my winter wardrobe since most of my sweaters are black, gray and blue.

sorry, not the way to add color imho...I'd check out barneys, they have some very nice sweaters in some much better colors.

I think it looks cool. Green is a good color. It doesnt come off as too intense most of the time.

That's a neat looking sweater, where's it from if I may ask?

Its from Asos. So it's not gonna be holyshitawesomequality. There is even a 15% off code right now and free shipping. So it would only be about 57 dollars

Hmm I know that lacoste stuff doesn`t get much love here, that`s for a reason. But I `m searching for a clean and decent pair of hi tops for an acceptable price. In my eyes the lacoste marlin hi could do a good look. But I`m a style noobie so what do you guys think, should I buy or don`t?
