do people try to keep these white canvas bags clean or do you let them develop their own patina?

Im interested in this one for the shape, but not sure if its big enough(13" dia. x 26" long weighs 2 lbs.) to be practical for a weekender.

this one as mentioned previously is pretty nice, and wouldnt have to worry about getting dirty.

Those are great Jet; I would get them if I found them in my size. Wish I could find the PS electric blue in my size too. I love the color and Paul Smith is always FTW. Breaks out of the boring-ass boat shoe look.

I am thinking about getting a pair of red boats from Brooks Bros because they are on sale at $65.

It just looks cheap, as far as articulating it I dunno it's the sheen and design doesn't look very smart. Not hating that's just my impression.

Thanks guys the green is my favorite and these are strictly resort/pool footwear since I don't wear sandals. My only problem is the price even on sale they're more than quoddys but nobody else makes a green like this with white laces and I can wear these with my trunks and some shorts too. I will have to try them on in person and see I guess.

Jet- I've seen similar greens but in a bit more washed out color from sperry i think (and a year ago). The vibrant color is what sells me on them and the blues though. Quoddys are nice quality and all but still look like standard boat shoes. I'd much rather have a pair of cool boat shoes like those and then just get sperrys for my cheap pair rather than $200+ quoddys edit: Found it. Yea, not nearly as nice. http://astroboyflyingabovetokyo.blog...eck-shoes.html Still like the blue better http://www.selectism.com/news/2009/0...th-deck-shoes/ but not gonna drop $200 for the saleprice

I see your point. Have you seen it in person? The washed buffalo leather is pretty damn nice...

I am not a fan of boat shoes, but I would go with navy, but red looks very nice too.
