Thanks for the pics and clarification.

I'm only looking for raw jeans so thanks a ton for the offer but now I'm passing.

So, those are the slim fit, of which I can find two more. The straight fit, are, after further inspection, a bit of a mixed bag. Some look raw, with only slightly lighter shades of blue on a bit of the knees, while others seem to be like the above ones, and not raw. They have slight brownish discolorations on them, but its fairly hard to see. Sizes are mostly 32s.

You got PM.

BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Volvo, Cadillac, Acura... They're all high-end in the game. It just comes down to what your expectations and taste are, otherwise you're going to get post after post of subjective opinion.

Lol, PM me as well if you got some RRLs in those sizes.

edit: Btw, I really am interested in YoungM's offer for pickup jeans but am confused if they are raw or at least one wash. Can anyone clarify to me if the jeans he is mentinoning is raw or one-wash? Looking raw with slight fades might be one-wash? I usually know my denim stuff, but without pics it's hard for me to make the call. Has anyone seen these kinds of models (raw but fades at knee) at RRLs?

I have limited funds to do this whole proxy thing, but happy to do it if you're interested.

I'll totally trade jeans for a kickass belt. I need one.

EDIT: So, to clarify, there are only two available fits. The aforementioned slim pair, and then the straight pair, pics of which can be found directly above me. I believe they are raw, but I'm not sure. They are definitely selvedge.

Also, I have no idea how to determine if these jeans are raw. The tag, and inner pocket both say to wash as few times as possible, and wear as long as possible before doing so, warning that the indigo will fade.

I sent you a PM.

I need to make a macro but... Raw jeans can be stf or one-wash. "Raw" means "not distressed" and has nothing to do with describing whether or not the jeans have touched water. Therefore, by definition if there are fades at the knee then they are non-raw. Also, since RRL has only made a single stf model (this season's buckle-back) it would be safe to assume that they are also one-wash as has been the tradition since the very first generation.

^Prps has put out a jean though that has pre distressing on a raw pair so that's an exception.

^ but they're still raw. They'll still break in and fade out. The areas that have been distressed will fade out more. It's a hybrid.

Ahh...HYBRID.Any jean will break in and fade, even distressed ones...

It's like saying, "Yeah, I bought a brand-new car. It's a hybrid, you know, where the tires have been driven in for 15k miles to break them in but damn, you smell the new-car scent? MMM..."
