I bought a jacket and a couple of pairs of moleskins from him last fall, I'm really pleased with them. Peter and Michele are a treat to work with.

Michele says they're adding a Chesterfield to their catalog, too. I'm anxious to see that.

For the Fall I'm buying the following items:

a. An odd jacket made from Scabal Shetland;
b. An umbrella stout enough to stove a man's head in with from Fox Umbrellas (dark green canopy, with calma "choice stout" handle);
c. 3 blue ties from Sam Hober;
d. 2 shetland sweater vests;
e. Some Thomas Mason cotton shirts from Hemrajani;
f. A pair of heavy weight mid-grey trousers; and
g. Maybe a hybrid safari/military jacket made from striped tweed.

Here is the Shetland I am after:

He really is. Pete is a lot like Art Fawcett, he's one of those guys who you talk to for the first time and feel like he's been your friend for years. He's doing some really nice work. If the dollar didn't suck so badly I'd be spending a lot more with him.

I have a couple of not so good pics I took with my cell phone, but you'll get the idea:

The crown on the Tucker is really just a few clicks too tall for me.

3)barker black mto loafers
4)navy grenadine tie

3)dark herringbone sportcoat
4)navy wool tie
5)red and white striped oxford
6)some jantzen shirts if i'm feeling brave (never ordered before)
7)a fall weight sportcoat tbd

+ another pale blue, medium spread collar FC dress shirt and maybe a striped FC shirt. apparently, i can't get enough of blue shirts, and I need to replace a couple that aren't large enough in the cuffs to fit comfortably/ comfortably allow for my wristwatch.

+ some new medium width ties, especially a blue + navy to wear with either a grey suit, or navy blazer and grey trousers. hopefully kiton, but more likely zegna.

+ a new MTM suit, although after much deliberation on cloth/ pattern......I still haven't come up with a solution of what to get! All I know is that I'm going to copy the first one I had done, stitch for stitch. I guess it will be some sort of gray color, and the weight will be 300 grams/ around 10 oz wool. damn, it's getting hard to find a conservative suit color/ pattern I don't already have.

+ a new pair of prescription-lenses sunglasses, definitely not for wear with tailored clothing tho!

From my friends in Kowloon (W.W. Chan, for the uninitiated): one 14 or 15 ounce tweed jacket; an 11-ounce worsted jacket in a "country" check--in all probability from the H&S "Peacock V" or (less likely) the Porter & Harding "Glorious Twelfth" collections.
