This morning, footprints on the fresh fallen snow. Just when I put the snow shovel away. What cruel joke is this, Mother Nature???

Happy Eas...whoops, I meant Merry Christmas CP.
We had 81 degrees on Sat and it snowed here yesterday. Nowhere near what you have. Getting to be a long winter / slow spring.

6.5. I intended to do 4x400 intervals, but after the first 400, I was completely out of gas. Took forever to get my heart rate back down, too. Oh well. Next time, I guess!

6.5 on each of the last three afternoons. Been really happy my switch from Pearl Izumi to Altras.

6.2 miles this morning and finished up just before a rain storm passed through. However, the rain was short lived and finished up in the time it took me to stop at the barber and coffee shops.

4.5 miles today. Yesterday I was convinced I'd only run 4 miles a day for a while, but today was too nice.

Little over 13 miles... 12 1/2 of which were pretty uneventful. About 1/2 mile from the end I was running on this single track that parallels the fire road, I cross paths with a guy walking a couple pit bulls... one of which did not take to kindly to my passing so close and chomped on my calf.

Aside from a lot of pain and surprisingly little blood (and what will likely become a pretty gruesome bruise), it doesn't look too serious. I carry a small first aid kit so was able to clean it out right away (highly recommend for you trail runners out there).

FWIW, I don't blame the dog (and don't consider pit bulls particularly vicious compared to other breeds).

That sucks. I had a little dog snap at me earlier this week, but I was already out of range.

Only 3.3 for me this morning, but all uphill. 600+ feet. There's also no air up here at 6000 feet! Even on the little bit of flat at the beginning, I was a solid minute behind my easy pace.

Wow, that's intense. I took about a 6 mile run in Houston last year, and passed an abandoned lot which had a guard dog. The dog came precariously close to biting me, but to your point I suppose he was doing his job (in that case).

6.5 miles yesterday. No dog bites. I was bitten by a neighbor's dog while riding my bike when I was 7 or 8.
