How many miles did you run today? - Page 618

4.4 miles late last night. I rarely run after 8:00 p.m., even less often this time of year so it was a nice change of pace to get out there that time of day, even if the sun had long since set.

This morning I got in another 8.1 miles. I'm off of work until January 2nd so I'm looking forward to not having to run long before the sun rises.

Ran 5.2km on the treadmill this afternoon.

Just did a mellow 13 miler with moderate hills. Beautiful evening for it. It's probably now 40s right now at home. I'm planning 50k for tomorrow morning.

Eleven more days, MP!

6.5 miles last night followed by 11 miles early this morning on very tired legs. Rewarded myself with a massive spinach and mushroom omelette nom nom nom.

10.4 miles this morning. Cold weather is back, nice trail run though.

Two house showings made me hurry home from the gym to help my fiancé clean up.  Going to "stretch my legs" a little later as it is 71* today in Nashville.

Fueco - How was the 50k training run?

2.1 miles this morning. We're supposed to get an ice storm tonight so tomorrow's run should be interesting.

Just finished (at 5:45). It was a bit rough for the first 19 miles. I was tired (too many hills yesterday?) and my right big toe was sore. I walk/ran a lot between 11 and 19. Then I stopped at a Starbucks and got a coffee with lots of cream and sugar and a banana nut loaf. That perked me right up, and I crushed the last 12 miles (mostly on trails). 6:27 was my total moving time, so slower than I would've liked, but whatever, it was one of those character building days!

What a mess!

I seriously can't imagine how you guys in the middle of the country deal with some of the weather you get for training! A friend who lives in Houston did a three hour treadmill workout the other day to avoid the crappy weather. I'd go insane...

4 miles today. Need 20 more by 12/31 to top 1800 for the year.

I didn't run this morning but I did go on a long walk into/around town. The sidewalks and streets were an absolute sheet of ice at 5:00 a.m. I'm glad I wasn't out running, even my walk was pretty slow and treacherous. Around 9:30 tonight I finally had an opportunity to go for a run and put in 6.3 miles for day #22 of the run streak. I don't think I've ever gone for a run that late at night, no matter what the time of year, but my body wasn't complaining. The route I ran was one that I do often and it appears that I had my fastest pace on it ever: 7 minute 35 seconds.

Nice MP!  I got out on a trial run yesterday that was a muddy mess.  It became a lot of power hiking as some hills were a mix of mud and leaves and traction was minimal.

I will not run again until Thursday so my body can rest.  Finally off an antibiotic so I am not getting winded as easily.
