BTW, running against a strong headwind can be compared to running up a hill, so you got more than the miles in that run.

Damn trail running....its made road running hard.
^ looks great out there . . . and the 45 minute half half marathon is rock solid!
I need some advice from you runners. I think I have IT Band issues. After my first half marathon, I tried to jog 3 days later. The outside of my knee hurt badly. It hurt especially bad going down stairs. The pain went away after a couple of hours. I waited 3 more days and tried to jog again. After a half mile, I had the same problem. I rested another week, then tried the foam roller on the outside thigh area. It hurt pretty bad. But foam rolling also hurt bad (albiet less so) on my 'good' leg. I tried my best to stretch the IT band using stretches found online. The next morning (this morning), I woke up with bad IT band pain. This is unprecedented, in that I have never just woken up in the morning with the pain - it usually only occurs after running. It eventually wore off after about a half hour, but the outside of my knee still hurts a little. Going down stairs doesnt hurt.
Sam,
