Really Really good shoe.
I am working at a running store these days so I try on everything I can.
The Kinvara/New Balance 880/Air Pegasus are three of the best trainers out right now in my opinion.
Today ran a "10k" turkey trot in 32:51 for second overall. Should have won!!!!

Didn't have any achilles issues, but did feel like my foot was pushed forward a bit. Thin socks for 1/2 size bigger in these.
I'll have to try the 1600's. I have a pr of the 1400's and happy with them. I also have a pair of the MRC5000's. No real thoughts on them but couldn't pass on a pair of 5K racers at 3.1 oz's.
RW = Runners Warehouse, but could see the Runners World reference too. Running times I get the mag but haven't gone to the site to reveiw shoes. Not a big Nike running shoe fan, they never seem to fit right for me.
Congrats on 2nd place in 10k, that's a great time and pace.
