How many miles did you run today? - Page 486

10.5 miles today with a tempo run. Warm and really windy. I hate tempo runs.

Do you guys apply anti-chafing gel on your nipples?
I prefer not to run shirtless so I am considering compression UA type shirts, does anyone use them or have any recommendations?

Tighter shirts seemed to help me. The body glide helps some too, but didn't work for me. For long runs, I have used the nip guards but they are somewhat expensive for what you get. Cheap bandaids work just as well.

Turned out to be much worse than a mere strain - it was a blockage that resulted in a "pop-to-pop" bypass of the artery behind my left knee. The good news is that all is fine now.

I would be ecstatic if this were the case. After multiple doctors and tests I just want to know what's wrong and how to fix it.

Ended up going for a stroll at one of my favorite trails tonight, so I took a couple of pictures of it

This is at the coastal peak in Newport Beach/Corona Del Mar, at about 1000 feet up and 1.5 miles inland. I usually run up the side under the freeway from where I live. Run up from the beach side too fairly often. Its an awesome place to run, bizarrely close to civilization once you get to the top of what seems, at the time, like an isolated trail run. It is great to get the waterfountain at the top on a hot day though, the k of climbing is draining,

18.2 today with a thirty minute tempo starting at mile 10. Probably averaged just under 6min/mile but seriously bonked. I think that gets me into the 80 mpw range for the week. Now I have to move in to a new apartment. May die in the act. SO TIRED!

Insane speeds! I don't think I could do 1 6 min mile let alone 18 of them!
