How many miles did you run today? - Page 483

Ran 8 am w/ uc riverside 8k invite in 27:41. Had to stop twice to puke, but I was able to get my shit back together and finish. I think that equates to about 535-37 pace for the 5 miles . Not bad considering I had the runs/ had to stop. Got SMASHED overall but some big guns were in the race.

EASY. I came up to altitude with some buddies to train this week. I will try to get a couple pics of the scenery as it is stunning.

Michigan- damn dude I don't think I could do 380 push ups in a week lol

Very impressive! I try to do something like this once in awhile. I thought that, if I reached 100 push-ups, I was doing good. I have long ways to go. Ha!

Wow, that's impressive MP. You could reword this post to say you went out to do push-ups and decided to run a bit between sets. Nice job.

That's a great finishing time in an 8K for most of us mortals. Not sure if that is what you were shooting for, but congrats SamBB on being able to achieve that finish. That's really moving. The last 8K I entered you would have won overall by almost 30 seconds.

A quick 5 miles this morning.

I tried doing the push-ups at each park again but it was still pretty dark, the ground was covered in dew, and I was constantly afraid I was going to stick one of my hands in something left behind from a dog. I powered through though and still got in about 140 push-ups and jumping jacks (not nearly as many parks on today's route).

Crushing it lately: 30-32 miles over the last 3 days, topped off by 17 yesterday with the last 4 at goal marathon pace. The doldrums of summer heat have passed. Bring forth the marathon.

Thanks guys!
Ran 4 am 6pm yesterday from 7,200 up to 7,700 for the second run. I already feel much more acclimated.

4.5 miles today as easy run.

Ran 10K race yesterday and had a great race and PR. No where near the paces tossed around on here, but wanted to break 45 minutes and came in at 43:10. Ave 6.57 pace.
Broke the 7 min ave pace for first time in 10k. 5th in AG out of 69. Really stoked afterward. Marathon training plan paying off big time.

Today, though: 6 x 800m (200r)
