I also run with my iPhone in my right pocket. More often than not I wear Mizuno shorts that have a zipped pocket.

NYR, thanks. Sagging pockets don't bother me a lot, the hassel of getting the phone out is what bothers me. That may be my fault for not having a set playlist.

Jay,

do you prefer shorts with the liner (boxer brief or brief) ?

I have a few shorts with brief liners and I like them because they breath but I think the elastic on the brief has caused a few rashes.

Do you notice a significant difference with synthetic boxer briefs?

Just did 7 km.

I hate the feeling of having things in my pockets when I run. Dealing with headphones and wires is even worse. I bring a single key with me and that's it.

8 this morning. Felt slow, so I went long. Lastest mile was the fastest mile, though... icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

CalTex: I have Speck case for my iPhone which carries up to three cards, and I hold it in my hand as I run. I've dropped it once in two years. I don't listen to music unless I'm on a treadmill. I use the Nike+ app for tracking. I want to get a Bluetooth HRM to go with it.

I'm fickle, and go through phases like that, but when it comes down to it, I need music most of the time. How 'bout this women's soccer game between our two fair nations? Today since I was with the kids, I had no music and it was a struggle. Could be that its because I've only taken 1 rest day in two weeks, and I spent that day driving 15 hours.

Congrats man! The day my daughter was born I ran when I got home (didn't let me stay in the hospital) and then I ran the day after my she was born from my place to the hospital early in the AM. Best and fastest 12 mile of my life!
