watched the sun come up while I ran 6.7 miles. Not bad, but the heat and humidity are stifling - my socks were soaked afterward.

You know, I've been running for years, and I still have to google km to miles...shog[1].gif

It's like driving from Michigan to Ontario. Suddenly, 60 mph becomes (almost) 100 km per hour. Whoa?

3 miles on a tender foot. I may have messed it up last weekend during my lower body workout. I haven't been able to run on my right foot in comfort since then.

Ugh, its hard, but try and rest it until its healed. That's the one thing I hate about running is that if one thing is off, you really have to stop. Very difficult to "run through" injuries the same way athletes "play through" them. Feel better.

4.75 miles for me after two and a half brutal hours at the gym (shoulders/biceps/abs). I earned the beer and the 2 pound porterhouse I had for dinner tonight.

Thanks, Rob. You're right, holding off is what I should do. For the next several days I'll focus on just working out (mostly upper) until it's better.

5 easy miles this morning for a total of 63 for the week.

Happy running and good vibes to anyone struggling with any pains and injuries.

5 this morning in the mountains above Lake Tahoe. Waited until 10 am, and it was warm (for me, accustomed to San Francisco cool) and there was no oxygen!
