Re: running changed my life

Also works the other way around... I was critically underweight and forgot about caring for myself. Running made me gain weight and have a better life.

Side note: looking to cop a bike this winter... Triathlon - here I come (finally!)

Me too, or at least helped me deal with giving up 6 years ago. I've also lost 16lb since Christmas and should comfortably loose another 14 by the end of summer because of it. I don't always enjoy running but its life changingly useful physically and mentally

WS100 2012 - 23:12:35 - it's been 2 days and it's not even beginning to settle in yet. When I dig out from all my work and email I'll put together a race report.

Thank you Sam and all for the positive words of encouragement, this was certainly a race unlike any other.
