5 miles. Drat, this daylight savings time. For the past few weeks, I've been able to run with the sunrise. Now, I'm back in darkness.

what did you get?

I just got theses for an upcoming trip to Machu Pichu... we are doing the abbreviated 2 day inca trail hike... it supposed to be rainy season and muddy:

inov8 talon 212

i'm happy its under 8oz for a size 10US

I like to run in minimal shoes (puma h street/mizuno wave universe) so these are a welcome alternative to clunky trail boots.

hopefully I can use these for xc races and trail runs too.

5 miles

Just started running for the first time in my life a few months ago. Did my first 5k in Jan (26:42)

Thinking about doing the 12k across the Golden Gate bridge this weekend, anyone else here doing it?

Not doing it but I ran the SF marathon in 2010 and we went out and back on the bridge. Its f*cking cold in the middle during the summer so wear something warm!
Just got a pair of these compression tights delivered 469
They have pockets over each muscle in the quads/hamstrings/groin etc and come with Ice Packs that you can put in said pockets. I have been Icing the last hour or so and it seems to be a good solution - also, they are built to be run in. If they are comfortable/effective over long distances I will be ecstatic because I will be able to keep Gu/Shot Blox in the pockets for Boston without having to deal with stuff bouncing around.
My legs are destroyed after yesterdays 15 miler w/ workout but I am headed for 10 easy on grass in a few minutes.

Sam: I've been wearing the 110% Play Harder knickers after all my races, hard workouts and long runs. I credit them for helping me recuperate faster and stay injury free for the past 18 months.

7 easy miles.

Lawrence - yes indeed it is a runningwarehouse hoody - you really can't beat free 2nd day shipping/free returns & huge selection. I usually try to buy gear from the running store that pays my race entry fees, but for specific things like tights/outmoded shoes/etc runningwarehouse is the default. Its a great site.

I wore the 110% tights to ice/run yesterday and I feel great today despite having some nagging hip flexor pain yesterday.

Yesterday it was
10 Early w/ 2k of 30 seconds on 30 seconds off.
