How many miles did you run today? - Page 402

The past week I've been doing 5k every other night on treadmill. It's been rough so far. Hoping it gets warm enough to start running outside soon. It's been my first time running since last summer...my body is paying for it!

Sick workout today:
10 miles easy warm-up probably 7 min pace or so.
+ 7 miles @ avg 5:58 Pace
+1.5 miles backed off (6:50 ish)
+ 2 miles hard (+/- 12 mins)
Total - 20.5 miles w/ 9 at faster than goal marathon pace. Would have been happy without running the last two all out, but I felt awesome so I hammered. I had friends with garmins for the middle portion of the run, but I blasted the last 2 alone so I don't know the exact split.
I am going to have to buy a goddamn Garmin . . . The soleus split watch I got just doesn't measure up when it comes to long tempos.
Here is the route: www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5339576

6 yesterday after work. The ankle that I turned at the end of January just won't heal. I think I'm going to take a week off to see if that helps.

Sunny. Temperature 66! And this is early March. Unbelievable.

Ran all over the place, zigging and zagging, for one hour. Enjoying it while it lasts.

3 weeks since my injury, and I still can't run, but my foot is much, much better. Still working out on the elliptical - couldn't maintain sanity with the stationary bike - and doing strength and conditioning. What's most depressing about not running is that the weather here has been awesome, and will be in the 70's most of next week. Oh well....

Got in 34.89 miles on The Long Path - from the GWB to Piermont and back in 5:37:39 (9:41 pace) which considering it was on trails and had 7k+ of vertical change, I was happy with. Easy 4.3 on Sunday in CP in 47:59. Got in my first 55+ mile week, and my first 33+ mile run, both real steps in my WS100 training. Best part is I'm feeling pretty good today.

34.89 miles! How do you people do it?

Ran 6 miles yesterday in 58 minutes. I know it's very slow, but it's my best time yet. Running a half marathon next week and will be taking it easy for the next few days.
