Sick workout today:
10 miles easy warm-up probably 7 min pace or so.
+ 7 miles @ avg 5:58 Pace
+1.5 miles backed off (6:50 ish)
+ 2 miles hard (+/- 12 mins)
Total - 20.5 miles w/ 9 at faster than goal marathon pace. Would have been happy without running the last two all out, but I felt awesome so I hammered. I had friends with garmins for the middle portion of the run, but I blasted the last 2 alone so I don't know the exact split.
I am going to have to buy a goddamn Garmin . . . The soleus split watch I got just doesn't measure up when it comes to long tempos.
