3.5 miles this morning. First run in about 7 days. I've lost about 8 lbs in the last couple months, but really should keep running more if I want to keep it off.

14.0 tonight in 1:32:25 (6:38/mi). Ran the last couple miles a little faster... 6:13, then 5:57, which used to be about half-marathon pace for me. I think im going to try and run a Half sometime this fall, there are a couple around here in the next few months. if i do, I know i wont run anywhere near my best, but tonights run gave me some confidence that im at least a little closer than i thought.

5.3 miles in 43:20, which was fine considering I spent a good part of yesterday digging out old sod and laying down new sod...in 100-degree heat.

Ran 5 miles yesterday. Just getting back in the flow after being sick all last week. Signed up for a 10K on 9/18. Gonna do 2-3 more runs before the race.

5mi with the VFFs...

Since I can't shove the Nike+ sensor in my Five Fingers, I used the Nike+ GPS app for the iPhone. Pretty darn accurate! I heavily rely on Nike+ to track my runs, so I'm beyond happy to finally have a way to sync up my VFF runs. Otherwise, it's the tried-and-true 1st gen iPod Nano + sensor in my Asics Hyperspeeds.

Just went out for 5k as I came home a bit late. I thought it was going to suck as I was feeling tired and was only planning a short run slow run. Oddly there was a ton of pop in my legs and I felt way stronger than I thought I would. I stuck with my short run plan but picked up the pace, I'll see how I feel tomorrow.

Haven't posted here in a long time.

Personal distance best 10.4 miles on Saturday in 1:13, was pretty happy with the time considering I'd never really ventured past 9 miles or so before.
Followed that up with ~6.3 miles (10km) on Sunday in 42:21.

Hoping to run my first half sometime, though probably not until next spring, since I'm out of town for the last few this season.

5.3 miles this morning in 41:59, felt pretty good throughout. Mind started to wander toward the end, though - had to concentrate on tempo and midfoot strike. Used an old pair of asics that I'd thought were shot, but they held up fine.

3 miles yesterday in 28:30. This is my second run since I've started running. I've never really run before, and going for a single mile makes me feel like I'm going to die, but I like the feeling after the run.

Good for you. Keep at it the initial gains in fitness are pretty cool when you notice them showing up.

ahHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

.. today, getting serious. 8 miles, 64:32. Wasn't easy since the little one is waking us up every 2 hours or so, but I slogged through it so that future ones won't be so bad.
